Good food and staff, service a bit slow at times
Rooms dated and need good clean, public areas need a revamp, housekeeping staff lacking in skills - asked for room to be serviced each day but had to make our own bed two days running and were left with unwashed mugs and hairs in sink and bath
Heating turned off on 1st April, and when we questioned we were given an inadequate heater

The breakfast and evening meal were excellent and freshly made. The staff were very friendly and location lovely and quiet with beautiful gardens to the back. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Nice room, but no aircon. There was a ceiling fan directly above the bed - but the room was stuffy and hot. Didn't want to sleep in a ground floor room with patio doors open. In the middle of summer, wouldn't expect to have a 10.5 tog quilt on the bed.
