We stayed at One Hotel in Hawaii for the first time and overall, our vacation was great and the hotel itself was excellent. However, we were a bit disappointed with the staff. My husband’s birthday was coming up and I mentioned it several times in advance, but they made a lot of mistakes. They brought the cake on the wrong day, and when the actual day arrived, I had to remind them. They also congratulated me instead of my husband. At checkout we were also charged $70 for items from the minibar that we never used, which was quite unpleasant to see from a hotel of this level.
I contacted the hotel about these issues afterward but unfortunately did not receive a clear response. Please be attentive and double-check your final bill.
