There was air conditioning. Breakfast was ok but could have been more varied. Unfortunately a particular male staff was very rude at breakfast. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning service was unfortunately very poor for a 4* hotel and a lot of the staff could not speak English. The hotel also had asylum seekers living there too. So communal areas were shared with them (apart from the breakfast hall) If you are looking for a 4* experience I would not recommend staying here. But for a short trip. It is ok the rooms are well maintained and equipped with a microwave.

If you don’t pay for breakfast you won’t get any coffee. Only Ukrainians get free coffee. There is no coffeemaker in the room, only instant. The head waiter needs education. You should promote Andres (waiter) who knows how to treat a client. Parking is a mess. The front desk staff was not able to explain well how it functions and it was a lot of wasted time to get in and out of parking. The room is nice and clean.

Nice hotel, great staff and lovely room at a reasonable price. As I was tired, I misunderstood the instructions given and went to the 6th floor in the wrong part of the hotel, so had to back down to find out where I should go. I then discovered that toiletries had to be picked up at reception, but avoided another trip down at night and got them in the morning. Otherwise all was excellent.

This hotel is a scam

This was the worst stay ever at a "4 star" hotel. At first they wanted to put us into a room that wasn't meant for guests wasn't cleaned and not the sleeping arrangement we asked for. Firstly the receptionist said that they were fully booked and they couldn't do anything then the other found a room and sent the colleague to check. Apparently it was fine. The room didn’t have a kettle nor a coffee machine nor a fan not even a phone! The bathroom had no toiletries or accessories just a soap dispenser fixed to the wall at the sink and in the shower. Half of the furniture fixed to the wall is barely attached. The lighting in the room is one main light that is in the bathroom “aquarium”. In order to ask for the WiFi password I had to call reception with my own phone. The furniture is all heavily used and very worn and beat up. This is a problem since the recent pictures on the internet of the hotel show modern and recently renovated rooms. The hallway to the rooms has pieces of the panelling missing, parts broken, garbage bags lying on the floor. There is this constant whistling and whining in the room 24/7 it is very difficult to sleep and then you hear water in the pipes. Absolutely no documentation that you normally find in a hotel room to read about the hotel and services. Sadly I am limited to 8 pictures as I have so many more. I cannot believe that this is a 4 star hotel and this room cannot be a room for guests, this is why I consider it a scam for the price and rating.

Das Hotel ist definitiv keine vier Sterne wert! Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und haben sofort gemerkt, dass etwas nicht stimmt. Wir haben holländische Freunde gefragt, und sie haben uns bestätigt, dass das Hotel größtenteils als Flüchtlingsunterkunft genutzt wird. Ich finde, so etwas sollte das Hotel vorher offen und transparent kommunizieren, bevor man ein Zimmer reserviert!!! Das Bad hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch, es gab kein Fenster im Zimmer, und die Hotelbar scheint seit Jahren nicht mehr in Betrieb zu sein. Wirklich schade, denn das Hotel hätte eigentlich Potenzial.

Positiv: Das zweite Zimmer war sauber und die Abluft hat funktioniert. Das Frühstück entspricht einem 4 Sterne Restaurant Negativ: -Aus der Hotelbeschreibung geht nicht hervor, dass das Hotel zum größten Teil als Flüchtlingsunterkunft genutzt wird. -Dusche undicht - Die Zimmer sind soweit in Ordnung, aber die Teppiche im Aufenthaltsbereich und Flur des Hotels sind voller Flecken.

In the evenings there was a strong smell of tobacco smoke in the bathroom (only). The bed was good. The rest was normal.

The staff was less than helpful. The room was hot. The air conditioner made noise all night long. The toiletries were only available if you went to the front desk. The parking was hard to find. The shower pressure was so bad…. I could barely it with get the soap out of my hair and told my 94 year old dad not to bother. The restaurant was closed. The staff at reception, less than helpful. Except for the morning girl who was friendly. The afternoon staff where more interested in their phone. When my dad became sick … I sent a request for an early checkout. No response.

My room was on the 7th floor, standard twin bed room. Very clean, spacious, great large desk and helpful personnel. Wifi: unfortunately not working well reception-wise on 7th floor. Mobile phones had trouble logging in and laptops struggled as well. Suggestion to work at the bar instead was successful. Offered to change room to a lower floor with potentially better reception. Toilet: unfortunately the flush wasn’t working well… Aircon: we followed the receptionist‘s instructions but the room didn’t cool down much even while running the device constantly. So air was really stuffy. Restaurant: rib-eye steak was pre cut into sluces already which i wouldn’t do. I felt like my meat cooled down faster that way. Breakfast: very nice! Good selection, soft boiled eggs were delicious.
