"This place was an epic fail. The place is deplorable. It started with just the exterior being unkept with junk and dozens of cats roaming around. The photos they used must be 20 years old because nothing looked like that. At first they couldn't find my reservation. My room had not been cleaned. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
