The Neighborhood:
Rabin Square (Kikar Rabin) is the main square of the city of Tel Aviv and it is situated to the south of Tel Aviv’s City Hall building, on Ibn Gabirol Street. Rabin Square also includes the "Yad Rabin” memorial- in memory of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin- which was inaugurated on the occasion of Rabin’s first year memorial, and around which are displayed the graffiti writings left there on the night of Rabin’s assassination and following it. Rabin Square is a center for social and cultural events, ceremonies, festivities and many political rallies, and it symbolizes to many the essence of democratic values in the State of Israel.
