"My sister and I stayed in the home with our children aged 8-16 years. The property was situated on a quiet road with the nearest neighbors fields away. By Hungarian standards the house was exceptional. We felt as though we were living in a very large IKEA showroom. The house was well equipped with a large refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher which made food prep and clean up easy. We appreciated the washing machine on sight. "There were no wine glasses. It’s a wine region and you recommend suiting the vineyards, but there were no wine glasses. A light in the outside eating area would be a welcome addition and the description of towels was a little misleading. Only one towel per person. We left pepper as there wasn’t any, and at 55 forint it’s something that should have been there perhaps."

Pur apartment was on the ground floor, so it was not hot, and it has a pretty yard to chill with table and a couch. Its a bit up on the hill, and the lake is about 10-15min walk. "Brett and Lilla are Always very happy with our stay at hotel helikon the food is always great and so is the facility’s and the pleasant staff except for one low life who yelled at me for bringing my own drink to the dining room table but since I’m rich and he is working poor I acted like an adult and let it go even though I could have ruined his life because this is the American way he’s lucky I wasn’t an evil elitist snob European other than that everything was great the man was over 45 and had grey hair so Il let him enjoy his pathetic life "

"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. Upon entry to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude arrogant man - who seemed overwhelmed and very unpleasant. He had shocking demeanour and was very unprofessional. We also experienced very rude staff at breakfast. "
