"We stayed 2 nights in Covarrubias. We originally planned to use the town as a base to explore the surrounds, but were enchanted by the charm of the town and didn’t leave during our stay. Cafes open around 10am and it’s easy to while away a day slowly exploring the streets, stopping for a coffee, wine or beer at regular intervals and having a lay siesta."

From help with booking buses, arriving just in time to take our suitcases in the car rather than us pulling them up the hill, to kindly driving us to the supermarket, our host Alicia could not have been kinder. The house was absolutely perfect for the 10 of us: 5 mums and 5 teenage girls. The rooms were spotless, the beds super comfortable and the aircon wonderful! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The position of the house in beautiful Lerma was...

"Fuimos un grupo de "andarines" un fin de semana y todo fue estupendo. Los dueños, Ana y José Angel son muy atentos y encantadores, el trato fue muy agradable. La casa está nueva, cuidada y decorada con una mezcla entre lo rústico y lo moderno ,amplias habitaciones, mucha limpieza y una zona preciosa para caminar. Hemos estado muy cómodos y repetiremos sin duda."

"La casa cuenta con todo tipo de comodidades, y de lejos diría yo. Las habitaciones son estupendas, todas con baño. Camas muy cómodas. Salón comedor estupendo para comer y hacer largas sobremesas. La zona de juegos muy completa. Y la atención de Carlos, lo mejor de todo. Hemos estado de lujo. Super recomendable. ¡Gracias Carlos!"

"Casa de 3 plantas implecable la limpieza y el jardin muy jugoso tanto en invierno como en verano. Cocina completa y las habitaciones y baños tambien. Muchas facilidades y menaje de cocina con barbacoa incluida en el jardin. La mujer que nos atendió muy atenta incluso prestando cosas que se nos olvidó llevar."

"Pros: Visitamos durante la Semana Santa de 2023, un alojamiento rural altamente aconsejable, espacioso y acogedor. Fuimos un grupo de 10 personas provenientes de Zaragoza y Madrid. La dueña, Pilar, fue muy cordial y siempre atenta, incluso nos regaló huevos de sus gallinas. Agradecemos a Pilar por hacernos vivir unos días tan placenteros."

"Wonderful place in the middle of everything "

"Absolutely wonderful! This beautiful property has been seen many times from the main road & we decided to stay one night on our way back to the north of Spain. Excellent under hotel parking which is very secure. The staff were all very welcoming even before we checked in. At Reception we were welcomed & checked in by a delightful charming Man who obviously loves this place. What a place this Palace is. Large & rambling, comfortable & welcoming. We had been informed that it was Fiesta time in Lerma. It did not deter us from a wonderful wander around this beautiful town filled with lovely, smiley people who just made the place so vibrant & charming. Dinner was taken in the Parador, as always food fantastic. Dining Hall very atmospheric & just a joy to see. Staff very attentive to my dietary needs with nothing too much trouble. Music at 5am was not ideal but the Hotel had placed us in a suite at the back in an attempt to mitigate the problem. Breakfast brilliant as always. We fell in love with Lerma & this beautiful Parador with its fantastic staff. Look forward to returning on our next trip. A huge thank you to all staff for their welcome."

The municipal pool was fantastic and only 10 minutes walk away. The village square with its bars and restaurants were only a stones throw from this beautiful house. The food and cocktails were delicious and not expensive at all. We will absolutely be back to this beautiful spot in the world. Thank you Alicia for an unforgettable week xx"
