The management was very helpful when we ended up arriving late, even keeping the grocery store open after hours for us. It's a very quiet remote location with a view of the lovely Rock Sound. Having the grocery store within walking distance was great!"

"We had a great vacation at Parlay at Sunset. The location is very private, no close neighbors. The kitchen is very well equipped including lots of spices. We loved the Bahamas Room. The sunsets were amazing. A great selection of sunscreen and bug repellent was appreciated. We had as many as 4 local, well behaved dogs to enjoy. Buy some dog food, they are hungry. We hope to return soon for more than 8 days."

"Tara Estate worked well for us as we primarily came to fish out of Davis Harbor, which is relatively close by. The house had a few “quirks”, but they were expected as it is nearing 90 years old. However, the property managers, a Shorlette and Joey, were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Thanks for a great two weeks in Tara Estate!"

The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis.
