Property was clean and well presented, fabulous hill top location with great views, stunning sunsets and lots of magnificent birds in the trees around the property. Big thanks to our host Cliff who could not have been more responsive in resolving the couple of minor issues we encountered.

Excellent!
We spent 1-1/2 weeks at this beautiful house in the mountains overlooking Tarcoles, CR. The view from the back decks was spectacular, including the valley below, the Pacific Ocean with the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. The sunsets were mesmerizing and we enjoyed identifying the many types of birds in the area. The partially covered deck allowed us to sit outside, even in the heat of the day. The pools on both levels were very nice and refreshing. The house was well-furnished with bedrooms and ensuite baths on both levels and a beautiful kitchen, living and dining area. Other amenities included an electric grill and a fully-equipped laundry room, wifi, and TV. Nearby attractions included the Crocodile Bridge over the Tarcoles River, and Carara National Park, with Jaco 20 min south and Puntarenas 1 hr north. The host was very responsive and helped us out in a number of ways with information, recommendations and provisioning the house. We enjoyed our time there immensely and highly recommend it.

The best view in COSTA RICA and the house i one word AMAZING..... From the reservation to the minute we left Cliff the owner of the house was amazing and so much help with everything he is a TOP NOTCH homeowner and we are so grateful he made this experience the best we will def be staying in this house again.... Great property with amazing view!
We loved this house! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the decks that povided amazing views of the Pacific and all the beautiful birds, including Scarlet Macaws The house has a unique construction with a master bedroom in the main house and 2 additional bedroom units with private entrances and ensuite bathrooms off the lower deck.The main house was immaculate and well furnished. The lower bedrooms were very comfortable and offered great privacy, but they would benefit from additional cleaning.

Property was all we had hoped for. All new appliances and furniture. We saw kawatis and iguanas in front and back of the house. Off season was very reasonably priced. Luxury rooftop living!

Lindo lugar en Tárcoles
La casa es tal cual se describe, minimalista pero con todo lo que se necesita. Una vista increible al mar y al rio. Algunos inconvenientes que logramos resolver con la encargada. Lugar seguro y super tranquilo, donde se pueden observar tucanes, pizotes, iguanas y escuchar congos. La subida y bajada (pronunciada) a la entrada de la casa hay que tener en cuenta sobretodo epoca lluviosa. Sin duda alguna volveríamos.
