"Lovely old hotel, well kept up and picturesque. Within walking distance of so many stores, galleries etc. Loved the downstairs coffee shop and front desk was very helpful regarding places to see."

"Motel has quite a lot of outdoor seating & games, grill & pool. Excellent walking around @ ease of parking. Breakfast was amazing with many options - all very good !! Staff friendly &helpful. Rooms older but everything you needed there- including fire place in our room. At first impressions you think older facility but truly has charm & is comfortable "

"Breakfast was plentiful with a daily quiche, fresh fruit and pastries. Our room was very pleasant and had a gas fireplace although it was warm enough that it wasn’t needed. The shower had plenty of water pressure and there was plentiful hot water. Our bed was comfortable. Convenient location and ample parking. Claudia and Amy were very helpful."

"several things broken in the room: 1. Be careful - room doors do not close all the way, check to make sure door locks before you leave 2. Heating broken 3. Refrigerator broken 4. several cabinets broken 5. Balcony over looked first floor patio filled with trash and broken furniture clearly looked like employee break room that had not been cleaned in weeks 5. When I tried to explain the problems I was experiencing staff never let me speak and assumed I did not know how a thermostat or refrigerator works. I was trying to be helpful to explain the problem but front desk never gave me a chance and when I asked her to stop talking to listen to me. funny next day I noticed maintenance there all day - wonder if my observations would have helped"
