Heading back early one morning from our holiday in Morzine, we watched the sunrise as we travelled. Arriving at this spot I couldn't resist stopping for a photo, the industrial landscape in the background with the mist in front and the road and trees in the foreground just worked!

"Check in communication was great and it was easy to park the car.Due to recent snow fall it was possible to ski in and out which was a bonus. Unfortunately on arrival we found that the previous guests had left parts of the apartment uncleaned and the concierge had missed this. When making the bed upstairs I found biscuit wrappers and crumbs, dust and hair. More attention to detail is required. We contacted the host who was very apologetic. Note that the ceiling upstairs is very low and not...

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast is great and has everything you need. There’s a coffee machine in reception that you can use 24/7. There’s also filtered water in reception so you don’t have to buy bottled water constantly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless. The spa is also great - especially after days of running. The location is perfect. Right in the centre but there’s no noise. We will be coming back to Chamonix next year and will be booking this hotel again. "
