"All communication was in Portuguese and through Expedia which delayed our ability to communicate effectively. That impacted our understanding of their policy to check in at 3pm or inform them before that time resulted in not knowing we lost our room with no refund when we arrived at 11:30pm right from airport. We called the company and language barrier was an issue, make sure to be prepared."

"I would honestly tell anyone to steer clear of this hotel. The only reason I gave two stars to the staff was because the person who checked me in was friendly other than that this hotel is pretty awful. I had breakfast and I took one bite of the sausage and realized it was rotten. The sauna looked like it hadn’t been clean in years. Other than that first staff member, the other staff cared about your experience at the hotel when we brought up some concerns. I’m almost certain I got food poisoning there from the food. Do not stay here."

"The room and the building itself was very clean. The only concern were the towels and beddings that could have been a little bit more cleaner (owner said it was hard to get rid of extremely stubborn types of make up that previous guests left behind on the sheets and towels, which in my opinion: 1. Very inconsiderate of these guests 2. Owner should think about replacing them.) Staff in the building are not as friendly and welcoming as they used to be, compared to my very fist and second stay (2019/2022-23). Location is 11/10: walking distance to great restaurants, bus stops, shops nearby and also parking available in the premises. Bed itself was comfortable however, vehicle noise levels are insane at times. The only other improvement that I can think of is a little extra maintenance: the showerhead could be better (water pressure is not great and water sprays everywhere) the small handheld one was broken when I tried rising areas with extra soap on the ground and on the walls. The sink trap was inconsistently draining slowly. The dining chairs were a bit wobbly but safe to sit on them. Wall light switches what looked like someone had tried ripping it off the wall at some point, very strange. But air conditioning was working fantastically as the temperature kept rising to the mid 30 Celsius. We asked the owner if we could stay an extra hour during checkout day and he kindly graced us with it. Amenities are all good, including laundry facilities. Will be back in the future!"

"The hotel is one elevator away from the Shopping Tamboré -very convenient. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was delicious - typical of Brazilian hotels with rolls, Brazilian cheese bread, cold cuts, fruits, yogurt, cereal, juices and coffee. One issue I had (and that seems to be a common feature in Brazilian hotels) is that they do not have a room that accommodates a family of 4. I had to book 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids. They were able to give us the rooms next to each other, though. And they gave the second room for half the price - some sort of "family deal.""

"Lived in this hotel for 2 months a decade ago. Staff is good, food is reasonable, but the facility needs remodeling. Air conditioning was not working, WiFi never worked in the room, one elevator broke down, and furniture (including beds) needs renewal. "
