The location of the complex was ideal, far enough away to not hear the noise of the town but close enough to walk to town and the beach. Vacasa was responsive when our refrigerator/freezer went out. The condo unit is older and the linens are old. Definitely need new bed linens. Supplies were very minimal. We met the owners and other neighbors and enjoyed our interactions with them. Nice people! In general, the condo is fine, just lower your expectations a bit.

Not bad for Tamarindo
This was an okay place to stay in Tamarindo if you're a Tamarindo fan. The courtyard inside the gates/fence was beautiful, surrounding the pool area. The place itself was comfortable, but there were some things that made me ponder if it was worth the price we paid per night (hot water heater got luke warm not hot, toilet paper needed to be put in garbage cans not flushed) compared with some other places we stayed in CR. The managing agency was prompt and communicated well. It was nice being able to walk to the beach if we wanted to (about 12 mins) and be able to walk to restaurants.

Comfortable, convenient, safe casa
Los Suenos II was comfortable, cool, and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. In the kitchen we had salt/pepper, foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, Tupperware, pyrex glass pans, and adequate pots/pans. Since we like to cook, it was great. The A/C for all rooms helped because it is humid outside. The once a week free maid service cleaning was a nice surprise. The swimming pool was perfect for an afternoon dip after walking the 9 minutes to the beach. The security guard was nice and helped to open the gate. What made this place 4 stars was trying to get the key to the outside gate (took 5 days) and communication with the person who was supposed to be our local contact. Otherwise, we recommend this casa.

Lovely surroundings - outdoor garden area, friendly neighbors, pool, close to grocery, bakery, restaurants, quiet. Only 10 min walk to beach. Condo complete and comfortable.

Stay at Unit 17 - los Suenos II
The unit had everything as provided for in the pictures on site. It was well equipped and comfortable. We did have an issue with the hot water but Gustavo had this fixed quite quickly. Water pressure upstairs not great but the outdoor shower works well. I would recommend this place.
