This was our second time staying at the Residence Inn. Our first visit was in December during the Christmas holidays, and Shaneka at the front desk was exceptionally professional and accommodating. We returned again in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Once again, Shaneka exceeded expectations she even remembered us and greeted us like family, which made the experience especially welcoming. We have another meeting scheduled later this February and have already made our reservation. In my book, Shaneka and the entire team deserve five plus stars. Keep up the outstanding work.

The staff were very courtesy and polite. If a question came up, the staff always was prompt with a reply. The hotel is very busy. The parking lot was full every night. But that level of activity has taken its toll. The rooms are tired, and badly in need of a refreshing. The dishwasher is louder than a 747, and when the AC came on, it’s loud enough to wake you. Breakfast was repetitive. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks, and nothing changed on the menu. That got old. With so many hotels in Tallahassee, pick one of the newer ones.

The room was very clean. The only issue was the bathroom. The toilet was too low to the floor and the room was very cramped. It would’ve been much better if the door was where the bathroom sink is. Other than this I have no complaints.

While the property is convenient I did feel that it was quite noisy traffic outside on the road. If you are a light sleeper, that could be an issue. The two bedroom suite with living room and kitchen is great!

First let me say the hotel staff was excellent. The room was vlean and the bed was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was as large as it was and the kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Another thing we liked was that the resturant Outback, believe that was the name, was across the parking lot so we didn't have to drive anywhere to grab food after a long drive in. Where I was disappointed. I took off one star because the water in the shower only got warm. It was weird because the water in the sinks got hot but not the shower water which is where I needed it the most. If we were staying more than the one night I would have changed rooms but we were off to Biloxi in the morning. Breakfast was the normal free breakfast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, etc. So all in all I would definitely stay there again but I would check the water in the shower first, LOL.
