We enjoyed the Bear Cabin. It was perfect for the two of us. The porch was a wonderful place to hang out and the cabin was cozy and nicely decorated with lots of bears.
Clean, beautiful area, very attentive to detail. I was only there one night but I'll definitely stay here anytime I'm in this area for outdoor activities!

Book it! What an awesome place! I fell in love with this place and had to stay another day. So glad they could accommodate! The absolute best part of this place is the star gazing. So bright and big sky view. Great porch and fire pit area.
Snacks were good too! I will be back! Thank you!
We loved Bear Cabin. It was so clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. Located close enough to town but also out in the country. Beautiful view from the deck.
Beautiful little cabin with many nice touches added to make it more inviting. The porch was awesome with great view. Host was nice and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful property and cabin (Bear). We enjoyed walking around and seeing nature, including 3 deer! The cabin was so neat and clean. The porch was very comfortable with a nice breeze coming through it. We took the Talimena scenic tour, enjoyed a great meal at Papa's Mexican restaurant in Mena AR, and took a different route back to the cabin so we could take in all the mountain views. We didn't want to leave Mountainview Retreat!
The directions from the owner gets you to the right location. The directions on the app do not and that’s because of the rural location I know. Just letting you know. Loved our stay!
We had a great time at this beautiful property, the hosts we so kind and amenable when I made a booking mistake and had to add an extra day. They even set out a gift for us for our anniversary which was beyond kind and thoughtful! We will absolutely come back and stay again!
