"Good parts. Location for beach, size of axcomodation, privacy, quite modern. Bad parts.. paid for breakfast NO BREAKFAST!!! NO WIFI AT ALL!!! NO HOT WATER AT ALL!! Then there was other things that it said the accomodation had but wasnt there...ie desk, slippers, bottled water. Worst of all the accomodation is next door to a temple that has chanting through a loud speaker starting at 05.30am and lasts about 45 minutes. This is repeated at 6pm....very loud."

"This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. Coastline Mirissa Boutique hotel and spa

"We had a very nice stay for two nights. Both pools are excellent, staff are very friendly, the room was clean and had modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent however, we had lunch at the hotel one day and it was only okay. There are a few monkeys around the property however, most never come into the actual hotel. For note, the hotel is based on top of a hill which is a very steep climb. While there is an outdoor lift for luggage and personal use, it does operate very slowly so the stairs are usually the quicker, but more straining option. From there it is a 10 minute walk into town which is convenient. But overall we had a very nice stay. "

"Fantastic stay, it was perfect for our escape to come and work remotely. Wonderful food, very comfy big bed, co working space is brilliant with comfy chairs, right on the beach, but the staff are the kindest and make it a wonderful place. Massive thanks to Ronald and Akif who went above and beyond! 💗"

"Our room was on the third floor with an amazing view over Mirrisa beach. The hotel is up a steep slope with quite a few steps and no lift. I loved the hotel design features with interesting lighting and features of older buildings. Breakfast is a la carte but with plenty of fruit, 1 slice toast 1 cake and a choice of hot food eg omelette. The pool is lovely but there are a limited number of beds. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants, bars and sun loungers. Unfortunately there is a building being built right in front of the hotel blocking the sea view for the lower floors and the restaurant. This was quite noisy and drilling did disturb the peace. It's not clear how high this will end up but if you want a sea view from your room choose the highest floor. "

"Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good quality and value. There is also a fantastic restaurant just opposite if you want a change. The personnel were all brilliant, helping whenever they had to, and replenishing cold water bottles when we on our sun beds. We had 2 lovely and memorable nights and would not hesitate to return. "
