Breakfast includes good selections of local fares which my wife and I like. All staffs in the front desk and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Many attractions, restaurants and metro stations are all within walking distances. We especially enjoyed both private hot spring bathtub and large public hot spring pools.

Comfortable stay
An old hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are really spacious & comfortable. We enjoyed the huge onsen in our rooms. Breakfast was good & tasty with kind service staff. Plenty of eateries & shops in surrounding area. U can just walk over to the beautiful Beitou library. The only downside is the terribly small lifts. Other than that, we’re very happy staying here.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the park was busy with lots of shops to find food . Walking distance to Beitou Market. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The bathtubs were easy to climb into and the water temperature can be adjusted better for a long soak.

The receptionist was yelling at my uncle when he tried to explained that the room he got was not the same as his reservation. He ended up getting two room instead of one without extra fee because of the receptionist's mistake. Good for us but not sure if it affects their hotel or not. Just to summarize, it will probably a long time before we will come back to this place.

The stay was pleasant. However, the public onsen could only be used once per stay. We went in the morning, and it was quite empty. There were some minor miscommunications with the concierge, but was settled amicably. Breakfast was basic but good.

Convenient location
Our second time staying in this hotel. Nothing much changed since the pandemic. Rooms are a tad old but still clean and comfortable. Nice private onsen in room. Location is great. Short walk to eateries.

Nice place to stay when visiting Beitou
Overall the rooms are in good shape and the private bath area is spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast included with our stay was tasty and offered a good variety of choices. If you are going with small children, they are not allowed to use the public bath of the opposite gender. Since I was staying with my two kids (5 and 7), my 5-year-old daughter was not allowed to use the public bath with me so we could not make use of the facilities.

Nice and affordable 5 star hotel.
It’s an affordable 5 star hotel with history. The public Hot Spring is a free plus for different enjoyment. The service and food are always good. But if you are looking for everything new and upgraded, this hotel may not meet your needs.

In my room, it have bathtub for onsen, water came from Beitou Hot Spring. It convenient for onsen, it called private onsen. It's the most moment that I love at this hotel.

We had the room with a private hot spring it was luxurious and amazing! The room is quite comfortable but it is very cold (guess it’s because people often feel heated from the hot springs). You also constantly hear the water through the pipes. 😂 We only stayed one night so it wasn’t too annoying. It also very close to the train station. If we visit Beitau again, we would definitely stay here again!

Nice location and very convenient. The property looked nice on the outside. Our room (two twins with onsen) looked tired and worn out. The onsen was rusty. The public spa was nice and quiet, but once again the facilities were well worn and fatigued appearing.

The hotel is located within 5 mins walk from XBT MRT station. There is a supermarket just next to the hotel. We enjoyed the private and spacious hot spring in the room. Buffet breakfast was nice. The hotel room looks outdated and carpet was not cleaned thoroughly.

Beitou has quite possibly the most potent hot spring water in all of Taiwan. As a result, when I develop skin problems, my wife and I frequent the hotels in this area. This was our first time staying at SweetMe. It is not the very best place to stay in Beitou, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is very close to the MRT station, so the transportation is pretty convenient as well. If you are a fan of fast food, Burger King, McDonald's and KFC are just within a 100 yards of the hotel. If you prefer a more Taiwanese meal, you can walk down the street past Starbucks and find numerous restaurants and even a small night market. Most of the hotel staff are not good at English, but they are pretty helpful and friendly. Like I said before, the rooms are fairly well kept. You might hear some noise from the outside as mopeds and illegally modified toyotas fly by, but for the most part, it is a pretty calm neighborhood. The police station and the fire station are also pretty close by.
