Nice place to stay

Great short vacation stay
Marie's vacation suite is located just outside of Nelson and offered great winter access to skiing and shoeshoeing. My wife and I loved the fact we could bring our dogs along. The hottub on site was a great way to relax after a day outdoors. The suite was spacious and welcoming with a comfortable bed and a large sofa and tv were complimentary. The kitchen is small but there is a nice outdoor dining area and large BBQ that we made use of. Communication with Marie was easy and courteous and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely quiet getaway
Our host was very nice. The suite was really clean and comfortable. Nice quiet neighbourhood perfect for walking the dog. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Nelson
This house is approximately 15 mins outside of Nelson in a beautiful area. Hosts let us know ahead of time that google may error in the location - which it did! Easy communication solves that problem. Suite was perfect for us and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

Great suite, roomy and comfortable.
Marie is a great host. The suite is immaculate and equipped with all we needed. Lots of space inside for two of us. Spent most of our time on the nicely shaded porch area. Listening to the squirrels and the birds. Good neighbourhood down a quit driveway. Close to Nelson, Castlegar and the Slocan Rail Trail. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Marie was a great host! Kitchen had a lot of supplies for cooking! The place was very clean, and also has AC which was really nice as it was hot outside! Highly recommend staying here!

Serenity
If you are looking for a serene and "under the stars" getaway this is the place. The property is situated 15 km outside of Nelson high on the hillside. The view is wonderful and the private deck/yard gives you comfort to "kickback". The accommodations were very comfortable and on the rainy days it was nice to have the wide screen tv. There was no dishwasher or washer/dryer but that didn't matter once you gazed upon the view through the many windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the multitude of recreational activities the surrounding area had to offer.

Perfect for our family
We had a great stay at Marie’s unit. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The setting is beautiful and very private. The size of the unit was perfect for our young family of 4. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks again Marie!

Staying above the clouds
We had a peaceful, pleasant time in the spacious lower level of the home. It was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and plenty of windows to take in the ever changing view of the valley below. The host is friendly and responds quickly. We brought our dog and it’s a pet friendly place.

A beautiful stay
The property, while a little difficult to find, was just as it was listed. The fire pit was a nice edition. The provision of tea, coffee, and shower amenities was nice. Marie and Alain were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend a stay with them anytime.

Great stay at Nelson
We had 5 days get away vacation and used this wonderful property as a base to get to local hiking and biking trails. Its completely met our expectations and we had a comfortable stay.Thank you Marie and Alan for your hospitality.

Great Getaway
This suite has everything you need for a home away from home. The owners Marie and Alan are very welcoming. The suite is bright and comfortable, and has all of the things you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Perfect Place to stay !
Our 2 night getaway was made exceptional by the graciousness and friendly Marie . All her hard work and care taken to ensure her guests are taken care of is second to none . Excellent property!
We loved our stay! Really nice location, well maintained property with nice spacious back yard, lots of parking and kids playground. Owners are very nice people, made us very comfortable, our kids played with their kids and that made our stay even more enjoyable - its great to have a company! Nice hot tub. Clean house, nice bedding. Kitchen has everything you need. We had a mouse noise at night and it was fixed immediately by owners, they seemed very responsible and attentive. Lots of wildlife around, you will definitely see elk, deer, we got lucky and saw a black bear up on the tree. Nelson is 20 mins drive. We enjoyed every minute and definitely will be back. Would definitely recommend this property!

Nice Nest Near Nelson
Very nice, comfortable and spacious apartment in a beautiful setting in a quiet, fairly upscale neighborhood a few minutes west of Nelson. Photos on website give an accurate idea of the accommodations. Climbed nearby Toad Mountain, which is beautiful and has great views, though you'll definitely want a high clearance 4WD vehicle for road access. Would definitely stay there again!

Very comfortable bed. Perfect location- not right in the town of Nelson, but conveniently located outside of town. The owner was outgoing and very helpful with any questions we had about the town and restaurant recommendations. There is nothing negative to say about the property or our stay.

Complete suite in lovely location
We highly recommend this rental for a visit to the Nelson area. It is well-maintained, and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of room, and it is cool for the summer with heating options when the weather is chilly. Nice kitchenette, so eating in is easy to do. Private space, with access to hot tub. Friendly host, and just a wonderful experience.

A very clean, private, comfortable suite and the owners are wonderful too!
The suite is new, kitchen is well stocked, and if something is missing the owners offered for me to ask them for anything (which I didn't need too). The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in (and I'm REALLY particular). It's bright and the look out is really pretty. A very comfortable sofa and we loved the hot tub too. There was a bit of noise transfer from above, but it was minimal. I also liked that they had a well stocked bathroom too (blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash). It's a 10 minute drive from Nelson and is worth it. My 3 year old especially liked the play structure in the back and Marie was so sweet to offer us any toys we'd like too. My son even played with their kids which was great. We felt very comfortable and would recommend this suite. Thanks so much Alan and Marie!

GREAT HOSTS AND SUITE!
We were very pleased with our stay at this suite. The property is located in a very nice and quite subdivision approximately 15 minutes outside of Nelson. Lots of room for 4 people to enjoy the stay. Very clean and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and respectful. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and Clean.
The location was secluded, sharing the yard with many wonderful little animals. The patio was a perfect spot for a glass of wine in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The entire suite was very clean and we had everything to cook a dinner and breakfast. The pictures accurately show the suite. The bed was comfortable. Great place! Highly recommend.

The perfect Nelson get away.
What a perfect private get away close to Nelson and Castlegar. The accommodations where exactly as advertised and the bed was ultra comfy. We spend a week in and around the area and the it was perfectly located. Amazing views and the hot tub was a great addition in a quiet atmosphere. The private entrance to the suite was fantastic as you did not need to bother anyone and vice versa - when coming and going. I highly recommend this suite if you plan on travelling in the Nelson area.

Beautiful Mountain get-away!
We had an amazing time! Our hosts were so friendly and gracious, definitely living up to the reputation of friendly Canadians. The suite was very new and nicely furnished. The pellet stove was very cozy to curl up in front of after skiing all day. The neighborhood where the house is situated is like a little winter wonderland in the snow and very conveniently located to Nelson, White Water, and Red Mountain. The surrounding are is beautiful, very woodsy and mountainous. We would love to come back!

Beautiful escape with a hot tub
We stayed for 3 nights and the place was everything and more that we needed to relax after a long week and soak in the hot tub and enjoy some beautiful Bennington scenery. The fire place kept it nice and warm and really didn't need anything except our swim suits and food. I'm sure I will use it again some time. Thanks
