"The buildings are excellent, very historical, and sensitively restored, which is rare in Hungary. The central heating failed to trigger in the evening, do it was very chilly at night, but better by morning - which was when we discovered that the inclusive coffee & tea had no cups in the room..... Small slip ups didn't detract from an lovely stay "

The easy check-in process and the quick, helpful support with any questions were especially appreciated.As a small point for improvement, the freezer should be defrosted and the dishwasher needs descaling. "The hotel exceeded our expectations, our room was clean, comfortable and had a lake view. The staff was kind and professional, especially Georgina, who helped us find an excellent room after the first one they assigned us only had a partial view of Lake Balaton. The SPA was also great, but what really impressed us was the abundance of varied, special and delicious foods. I would rank the culinary experience, what we had in the hotel into the top five out of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in worldwide over the decades."

"Very lovely and accommodating staff. The hotel is well decorated, clean, smells good, great music played in the restaurant, and bedrooms perfect. Only negative comment is the heating. Was too hot for my liking. Tired to turn down the AC and it was broken. It’s hard sleeping on 27 degree bedrooms. Had to sleep with the door open "

"It is a well kept property. We loved the longer shoreline. It is very busy but still I did not feel super crowded. Lots of activities are offered for families. Food is great. Suggestion: beach towels. We had to carry our bathroom towels to the beach. The price of the accomodation is quite high. Minimally, the water at the dinner table should be free."
