Experience the charm of island life in this lovingly preserved 1907 stone home, built by a family of sponge divers in the quiet, historic settlement of Pitini, Symi. Just steps from the sea and a short walk from the harbor, Fotini’s Place offers a peaceful, authentic retreat filled with warmth, character, and island history.
The home comfortably sleeps up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, making it ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families. Inside, you’ll find a traditional open-concept living and sleeping area with a double bed and a cozy single bed tucked into the corner. The handmade furnishings and wooden ceilings give the space a warm, nostalgic feel.
The small kitchen is equipped with the basics for preparing breakfast or a simple meal. You’ll also have a full bathroom with a shower, a washing machine, and thoughtful touches like an iron, ironing board, and drying rack. One of the favorite features of the house is the peaceful inner courtyard — a private space with a table and chairs, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or relaxing with a book in the evening.
The location is ideal for exploring Symi. The port is just 300 meters away, and within a 10-15 minute walk, you’ll find the market, charming local shops, and cultural landmarks like the Windmills and Pontikokastro. The famous Kali Strata, boat tours to hidden beaches, and beautiful churches are all within easy reach.
Guests will have full, private access to the entire home and the courtyard. Nothing is shared — the space is entirely yours.
