「Gravel road was not very motorcycle friendly and if pulling a trailer it's very tight getting turned around and backing up hill to property. But cabin was awesome!!!」

「The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.」

「I came up for a reunion from busy central Florida. It was a wonderful, peaceful stay. Jonathon's creek is beautiful and i loved sitting out on the porch and just listening to it. It's not a huge space but definitely fit my needs. 」

「This is a great place to stay when visiting the Nantahala and surrounding area. The house was clean with nice quality towels, mattresses, and bedding. We felt very at home and loved the decor. Our teen boys enjoyed the separate outdoor room or man cave as they called it. We played pool and corn hole as well. Our evening ended with s’mores by the fire. We will definitely be back!」

「The location was very quiet and the perfect getaway. The grassy area by the garden shed was the perfect space for our dog Gracie. We had everything we needed and the host was available if we needed them.」

「Not only was the place absolutely gorgeous with the peacefulness of the water, it was just as listed. The place was vey spacious and clean, had everything we needed, internet was great, and the record player was a fun touch to our evening. The host was wonderful! Communication was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Easy check in process and check out! Would definitely stay here again. 」
