Hi Jason, We're disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. Unfortunately Kings Cross is a busy area so we can't control outdoor noise in the area however we do provide a fan in every room and we're happy to provide extra ones if they're requested. I can only apologise regarding the breakfast, this must have been an oversight by our housekeeper. If you'd have spoken to management as soon as you discovered it, we'd have been more than happy to immediately replace it.

Hi AJ, I'm sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with your stay. We process all our check-ins at the bar which is permanently manned throughout the day which ensures that the luggage you stored with us is always safe. I'm disappointed you didn't find the place inviting, our staff will always try to cater to your needs if you had any requests,

Hi MD, We do ensure that on the booking page, wifi/internet is not listed under the available facilities to ensure guests aren't disappointed upon arrival. I don't know if it was mentioned when you checked in but it should have been, that if nobody is in reception, there are people in the bar from 8.30am each morning until 3.30/4am when the bar closes who are more than happy to help if you have any issues or queries. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but if you'd have let us know you were unhappy, we would have done our best to try and rectify the situation.

Hi Frank, We're glad to see you enjoyed your stay with us. Understandable that it's frustrating not having wifi but it's something we are looking into for the future, in the meantime we don't advertise that service in the hope to not disappoint guests upon arrival. Same with the air-conditioning, we make sure it's not a feature the booking site says we offer so as not to mislead anyone. We are more than happy to provide extra fans for the rooms if guests ask though! We would be more than happy to welcome you back on your next visit to Sydney should you choose to pick us :)

Hi Patrick, We were disappointed to see your negative review towards the hotel after allowing you to cancel your booking with no fees incurred. Our website doesn't advertise that we have wifi or air conditioning so as not to deceive our guests, so we feel it's a little unfair to criticize us on this. And I'm unsure about the bath with mouldy joints you mention as our bathrooms only contain a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. I'm sorry you weren't happy with the hotel but we had no issues with you choosing to stay somewhere else so it's disheartening to read your review.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you had a disappointing stay with us. With the Sydney heat recently, sometimes food can go off quicker than normal and I can only apologize for your experience. If you'd have alerted a member of staff or phoned down to the office regarding the kitchen, we'd have been happy to rectify the situation! With the toilets you mentioned, I'm unsure what you mean? All our double rooms have en-suites and our twins have private, separate bathrooms which is said online when you book. Each twin room has their own bathroom, only accessible by your room key. We'd love to try and change your opinion on the hotel, if you visit Sydney again!

We provide lots of flyers outside our main reception for guests to see the array of tourist attractions Sydney has to offer. And our staff are more than willing to help you find anywhere you may be looking to go, I can only apologise if this wasn't made known to you. All our rooms are carpeted but are thoroughly cleaned during and after every guest stay to ensure they're clean and dust free.

Hi! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We're sorry to hear you couldn't find a staff member upon checkout, we have staff here on the night shift until 4am and then morning staff start at 8am. They can always be reached by calling the hotel's phone number as sometimes they're downstairs in the cellar, I can only apologise if this wasn't mentioned to you. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel next time you visit Sydney if you wish to stay with us again.

Unfortunately the building is very old so an elevator isn't an option :( We don't have wifi and don't mention it as a feature we include on the Expedia site in the hope guests aren't too disappointed when they arrive. Hi, We're disappointed to hear you weren't satisfied with your stay. Unfortunately we're situated in an old building so a lift isn't something we have the option of installing. We try to provide a variety of cereals, condiments and other breakfast items for guests to eat in the mornings. Staff are in the building from 8am but if they aren't in the hotel office, they can be easily reached by phoning the hotel phone number as they'll only be in the office downstairs and happy to help if you have any issues. We open the bar at 10am and are more than happy to accept your bags there and store them for you until you're ready to leave, I'm not sure why this wasn't made available to you during your stay and can only apologise for this. Internet isn't a feature we offer and it's not on the amenities list displayed on the booking page in the hope guests aren't too disappointed on arrival. If you ever visit Sydney again, we'd love to improve your thoughts on the hotel if you decide to stay with us again. Kind regards, Management

We are looking to get the entire A/C system replaced which is why it currently doesn't work but we made sure not to advertise A/C on the booking page so as not to try and mislead anyone. If you'd have popped down to the bar, one of our friendly staff members would've been happy to get you a fan for the room. Sorry we didn't manage to fix this for your recent stay! Hi Seti, We try to be available as possible, staff are working at the bar and around to help till around 3/3.30am each night and then someone is back in the office (either the upstairs or downstairs one) from 8am and available by calling the hotel number.
