Most of my time at the Mercure Sydney was really good and comfortable, except asking if I could have a late check out of a couple of hours because of my flight time. One customer staff member said no way possible, because of hotel rules and bookings. He then checked on the computer and said that I can have a late check out of a couple of hours but I will need to pay an additional fee. He then asked another staff member about the late check out fee and they also confirmed I have no choice, and must pay the additional fee for a couple of hours late check out.
Daily room cleaning was not possible unless specially requested at reception. Very disappointed guest.
