"I had a pleasant stay for four nights in Owl's Nest. I was up in the area to ski at Wisp. The "back way" to and from the resort made the drive only about 10 minutes or so. The cabin is stocked with everything that one could possibly need. The hot tub was great!"

"The house was nicely decorated and the rooms were as described, with one important exception. There is a nice, large living room with a foosball table, tv, and games, but it was totally unusable during our stay (January) as the heat is essentially non functional in that room. Just to keep the kitchen and dining room somewhat comfortable, we had to keep that room shut off. That made for less usable space during the stay, which was a shame. That room would benefit greatly from a mini split, or a space heater. There is no fireplace in the house, and it was also a bit cold on the main level. Upstairs was warm, by comparison. House was clean, but it's in the woods, so there were some signs/sounds of rodents (somewhat expected) and attempt to bate them. Very close to Swallow Falls and Herrington Manor state parks."

"Everything about our stay was perfect! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and everything was in perfect working condition — you could tell the hosts take great pride in the property. We had 11 people stay, including kids, and the space was more than sufficient and very comfortable for our whole group.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made a big difference for a large family stay. From utensils and pots and pans to appliances, everything we needed was there and thoughtfully organized — truly one of the best-equipped kitchens we’ve experienced in a rental.The location is incredibly scenic, surrounded by nature with lots of wildlife — we even saw deer right in the yard! The beautiful snowfall made the setting feel magical, and the large windows allowed us to bring the snowy woodland views indoors while we snuggled up by the fireplaces. It was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for.The indoor pool was excellent and a huge hit with both kids and adults — perfect for hours of fun regardless of the weather.The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. All of the pictures accurately reflected the home — what we saw online is exactly what we found upon arrival, which we really appreciated.This host truly deserves a 10/10 rating. We absolutely plan on returning and will be recommending this property to our friends. A fantastic home in a beautiful setting — highly"

"Firstly, the pictures do not show the beauty of this property! Just gorgeous, clean, surrounded by plush nature.My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and anticipate returning. It was quiet, private enough, beds were comfortable, the host responds promptly, property was clean, hot tub works, and good proximity to shopping/restaurants. Cons listed below for those who need detailed reviews, however if you’re interested, just book and check out for yourself.Cons- Close to road, surrounded by other rentals, check out time earlier than average rentals, TOO MUCH chlorine in hot tub."
