Wonderful property for multi generation and friends 2 week stay. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of toys and great yard and beach for outdoor activities. Lots of indoor space to spread out in. Great vistas and local activities. Excellent host went above and beyond. Hope to be back.

This house and property are amazing. We couldn’t help but feel relaxed! Some highlights:—House is extremely well maintained, especially for a rental. We stay at multiple large VRBOs each year and this was top of the stack.—Private beach was amazing, and having all of the equipment there meant we really used it (like multiple times a day). Kayaks, canoe, life jackets in adult and kid sizes, frisbees, etc.—House was perfectly stocked - like just enough paper towels and dishwasher pods to get us through the week without going to the store, but not a ton of clutter. There were even completely empty cabinets for our groceries.Thanks for a great stay, we would love to return!

Our Stay in Surry

The home was a wonderful place for us to bring together the families. We were able to separate the age groups since our younger family members liked staying up late. The hot tub got used just about every night. The house wasn't too far from Bar Harbor, but that was okay. The travel was not that bad. The best part about the location was the ability to see the stars at night. It was so clear that we could see satellites with our own eyes. I've never been to a place where that was possible.All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

In our 5 years of vacationing on the Maine coast, this home, this location, this attention to detail has far surpassed any other stays we have had from Blue Hill to Castine. The home was immaculate - white glove clean. The owner met us and was most helpful, giving us a walkthrough of the home. There was no lack of kitchen items for preparing meals from the fanciest to the simplest, no lack of linens, comfy beds, views of the bay etc etc etc. no lack anywhere - overall a place you would be proud to call home even if it is just for a weeks stay. We cannot wait to come back. Thanks

Wonderful

Perfect for multi-gen family like ours. 2 bdrms and rec area on each of 3 floors. Kitchen elaborately outfitted with every tool and appliance you can think of. Many sightings of forest and ocean wildlife took our breath away, as well as a stellar view and restful quiet. Michael, the property manager, responded promptly to any need, and welcomed us with a tour. All in all, a perfect holiday home.

WOW, BEST EVER!!!

By far the cleanest, most beautiful, best vacation home we've ever used. Everything we needed other than food was there. Plenty of seating inside and out. Peaceful, private location. Our group enjoyed using the canoes, kayaks, bicycles, basketball and goal, stereo system, fire pit, hot tub, exercise equipment, pool table, and gathering around the dining table to play games at night. Enjoyed watching the deer and duck families late in the afternoons. Michael was very responsive to any questions and was there to greet the first of our family group to arrive and show them around. He & the leader of his cleaning crew were also there when we were leaving, asking what he could do to make the place better. We all had a wonderful time enjoying our first trip to Maine.

Beautiful place! Perfect spot!

My family loved the house. It was in a beautiful spot on calm water. Michael provided an excellent check-in and was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was gorgeous and we loved the kayaks and paddleboard and appreciated having many sizes of lifevest available for adults and kids. The view of the night sky from the hot tub was remarkable. The house is clean and well appointed and as advertised. We loved it!

Beautiful Location

The house is amazing. Michael met us at the house and did a quick run through which was very helpful. The house is fully equipped with everything you would possibly need. Would definitely stay there again!!

This house is Beautiful, we had a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone! We got in late at night, so the owner met us there the next morning and showed us around. Both kitchens are stocked with everything you need and more. Looking forward to staying here again.

Incredible Property

This place has everything you could possibly need, way more than any other vacation rental I've stayed in. And if it doesn't have it, Mike is there to get it for you. The pictures don't do the property justice, it truly is a beautiful location. Mike goes above and beyond making sure everything is perfect and taken care of with incredible attention to detail. Our entire group was very impressed! Highly recommend for a group trip as there is PLENTY of space.

Milestone Celebrations

Lovely property. Met our adult children from other east coast locations for time to celebrate and relax. This property was ideal. Beautiful location & well appointed house

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The view and large lawn leading to the water were spectacular! The indoor and outdoor areas were spacious; with plenty of games and recreational gear. Michael was very helpful and welcoming. We would absolutely recommend this amazing home.

10 Days in Maine Paradise

This was the perfect place for our 10 family members for a 10 day vacation and two anniversary celebrations. The house is spacious, clean, and very well maintained. It was even better than the photos. The grounds are amazing and so relaxing by the water. The owner includes many amenities including kayaks, bikes, life jackets, yard games, fire pit, and more. The hot tub is drained and cleaned before arrival of each customer. This is an absolutely wonderful place for a family with kids. Michael and Jill are great hosts and very responsive if needed.

Great stay with family

The listing is very accurate and the house served our needs well. The property is great and even better than the pictures. The only downside was the lack of central AC (AC in the the upper bedrooms was great) for a few days when we had high heat and humidity.

Perfect family trip

Our family loved this house! Great space for adults and children. Lots of outdoor space for kids to run around… bikes and kayaks for adults. We ended up cancelling other plans so we could enjoy all the property had to offer!
