Beautiful house and property
Little Mountain Retreat was a very relaxing and homely place to stay at. We had everything we needed in the house, and it was very beautifully presented. We loved the feeling of being amongst the trees and seeing the kangaroos and birds, while also being so close to shops and restaurants, the beach, and the hinterland. Rachel was so lovely to communicate with and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone travelling to the Sunshine Coast, and would definitely come back!

Absolutely Fantastic
Could not fault our stay in this house,Perfect location, from the verandah to the kitchen,which had everthing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and exceptional,and Rachel our host was very accomodating. If we didnt have tours organised,could have quite easily stayed at home and watched the view, Would definitely stay here again. Ian and Leah

Little House on the hill
Well presented little house with everything you may need. Very steep driveway which was overgrown. Don't recommend arriving after dark. Still a good drive away from the beach (10-15 mins). Not as comfortable as we had hoped as far the bed and sheets went. A neighbour's barking dog and traffic noises meant it wasn't as quiet as we had hoped. Everything was in good working order.

Had a lovely family weekend staycation of 5A+1C in this lil retreat tucked away in peaceful green surroundings! Waking up to breakfast at the deck was special! Full amenities provided, complete just as one were to be at home! Couldn't have asked for more!

We all really enjoyed our extra long weekend at Little Mountain Retreat.The property was amazing we loved all the comfortable finishing touches which made our stay so much enjoyable. Great family trip at Little Mountain
The house was so lovely and had everything we needed plus some little extra's we were not expecting but truly appreciated. not having to pack towels and linen was an added bonus. The view from every window is truly spectacular and relaxing. Trees and sky was our view for two days and I felt totally refreshed after spending the weekend at Little Mountain. Thank you to the owners for hosting our thoroughly enjoyable weekend. We will be back very soon.

A wonderful place tucked in amongst the trees
Amazing property to stay at! Loved the timber doors and deck. Bbq-ed and dined outside, was perfect. Very tidy property and nice and private...just right for us. Kitchen has quality cookware (Scanpan) and the pantry essentials was a welcome surprise (foil, cooking paper, sauces, oils, rice, pasta). Aptly sized fridge freezer for a homestay. The only disappointments were the bath (let down on size) and the showers (had low pressure). Loved the room sprays and showering sets in the bathrooms though so have ordered some for our home! A great place to stay, a credit to you Rachael. Thank you for your hospitality.

Everything you need
This place is very well equipped even for a young family. Had board games and Netflix provided so lots of entertainment if needed. There's even roo food! Yes, we saw kangaroos everyday. The property was clean and the high quality fittings and appliances was actually surprising. The slight negative for us was the main bedroom bed was touch soft, but can't fault as this is a personal preference. The bed was not sagging. As for the location, it wasn't far from the main hub of Caloundra, we actually prefer to not be right in the centre. There is slight road noise during the day, but it wasn't an issue at night and didn't disturb our sleep. Very happy with our stay and would stay again in the future.

It was just the most relaxing short break away. The location was perfect, a short drive to all the beaches. Was peaceful sitting in the deck enjoying a quiet drink of an afternoon, lots of bird life & seen a couple wallabies too. Loved our stay here. Great location, close to everything but tucked away from the hustle & bustle. The house is fantastic, could not fault it. All of the little extras throughout the property made our stay so much easier with two small children. Highly recommend

Fabulous retreat!
We were all so excited to find the little house up the driveway. Set amongst the trees with a lovely outlook and it felt private and cosy. We even had a visit from a Dad and baby kangaroo! Our girls were very excited and there was plenty of room on the grass and driveway to play “kangaroos”. Inside everything was very clean and welcoming. Cupboards thoughtfully stocked. We really enjoyed our weekend away and would love to come back.

Lovely relaxing weekend away
The property was just like the pictures. The house its self was beautiful, would have loved to have a bigger bath to relax in, but overall money well spent. Sitting on the patio overlooking the trees and landscape was dreamy. We will never forget our time at little mountain. Only negative was the coffee machine had old coffee already in it that was difficult to remove and we gave up.

My husband and I with our toddler had a lovely week away in this lovely little house. It was even toddler proof! The best part was sitting outside in the early morning/late afternoon on the comfy chairs on the front veranda. It had everything required for a small family to stay, and is so close to all things on the Sunshine Coast, and only an hour away from Brisbane.
