"Ok there is a lot this resort does right but can improve on some things. The activities for the kids are endless! Our group from 3-12 loved the waterslide on the beach & pool with the DJ/kids games was a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful and it perfect for young kids!! One of the biggest downsides is the elevators. They take forever to come and are often packed when you get one. I think this comes from the resort being older and not having any service elevators so the employees have to use the elevators as well which can often take them up. This resort is in need of some TLC as the rooms are dated and worn. The rug in our living room was fraying and some of the clips for the drapes were broken. Also during the stay my daughter had dropped a bag of chips in our room and while I did my best to clean it up there were still some small crumbs that needed vacuuming up. When housekeeping had not come by 3:30 I had called to check if they would be coming and was told that while they try to make it to every room each day they have been very busy so some days they have not been able to accommodate everyone. While they did come clean our room I do think this is worth noting if daily housekeeping is important to you. We did also find some dead bugs on the floor near the front window when we first got to our room so I don't think they do a really thorough job. Overall fun place but if you are expecting a higher end resort it is not for you. "

"I had a double bed room, not much space honestly, but it was cost and clean. Individual AC wall units, not central air and they were quite loud. 2 kinda small pools but the access to the beach was excellent. Beautiful beach. "

"Hostile staff who couldn't give a hoot that your stay is awful. I was hard eyed by a bald staff person when checking in and he wasn't even checking me in. Just staring at me like I don't belong there. And oh yes broken toilet and coffee maker that doesn't work. Yr paying $200 a night to stay in a cheap motel that happens to be on a gorgeous lagoon which is pretty much the only good thing about this place. Big avoid."

"The unit was nice, the living area a bit cramped, bedrooms nice, kitchen fitted out with place settings for 4. The ocean side balcony view left a lot to be desired. The room type description inferred that the room was located within the front (beach side) half of the side rooms, but it was 2/3 the way toward the road."

"Clean room, lots of space in their 2bedroom/2bath. Nice amenities to include pool, hot tub, bars. Close to all the major highways. Beds/sheets were *AMAZING*!! All rooms had ceiling fans which was great for those of us who need white noise to sleep. Downside? $45/night in **ADDITION** to room rate for “resort fees”; it’s just another bs scam to drain more money from people."
