Sunset Headquarters and Gardens

Historic means historic. No complain if you understand that it will look old and spacious if you get the suite.

The room was clean, carpet outdated and not my favorite in a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are able to hold your luggage upon check out, so you can continue to explore the city. Parking is located across the street near the police station, for a very reasonable fee. The area is quite and walkable, with Golden Gate Park across the street. On my next visit into the city I would definitely stay here rather than downtown.
