Yes,the train ran in front of the ocean view. That was never bothersome. Yes, there was some traffic. Also, not bothersome. I knew these things prior to check in. Loved the ocean view. My two night stay was excellent.

Short drive to hikes and good restaurants. Nice view while eating breakfast at the house, and had a great breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe which is a short walk. Good, friendly communication. Very clean. Fun porch with view. Coffee, tea, sparkling water and doggie treats greet the visitor. Be aware of footed tub shower and lots of stairs-fun for most folks, tricky for one of us.
