"Haus und Garten haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gehdistanz, schattiger Fussweg mit toller Sicht auf den Balaton."

"Der Aufenthalt war landschaftlich sehr schön mit etwas mehr als 50m zum Strand. Die wohnung an sich ist sehr klein. Ein Schlafzimmer ist mit Doppelbett das gerade so rein passt. Das andere ist ein zimmer mit zwei einzelnen betten. Das bad ist sehr klein. In der Dusche ist kaum platz um richtig duschen zu können. Kaum 50cm breit, dafür aber 2m lang. Die Wohnung und Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und sprechen etwas deutsch."

"Die Anfahrt zu dem Objekt ist etwas schwierig da es das letzte Stück über Waldwege in die Berge geht. Aber oben angekommen, fühlt man sich vom ersten Moment an wie im Paradies. Das Häuschen ist super toll gelegen, der Blick über den Balaton einfach fantastisch. Und das allerbeste, man hat seine absolute Ruhe. "There were no wine glasses. It’s a wine region and you recommend suiting the vineyards, but there were no wine glasses. A light in the outside eating area would be a welcome addition and the description of towels was a little misleading. Only one towel per person. We left pepper as there wasn’t any, and at 55 forint it’s something that should have been there perhaps."

"The hotel closes at 8pm. No staff are onsite after that. You are supposed to receive a text with instructions to a lock box. I arrived 7.45pm. Staff had gone home early and the manager "forgot" to text me the lock box code. Manager did not answer the emergency phone, Expedia tried to contact the hotel, no answer to their team either. Fortunately another couple arrived and I gained admittance. A quick survey of reception I located my check in details and a room key. If arriving after 8pm I would give this hotel a miss. There is an abundance of hotels in the area"

"Brett and Lilla are Always very happy with our stay at hotel helikon the food is always great and so is the facility’s and the pleasant staff except for one low life who yelled at me for bringing my own drink to the dining room table but since I’m rich and he is working poor I acted like an adult and let it go even though I could have ruined his life because this is the American way he’s lucky I wasn’t an evil elitist snob European other than that everything was great the man was over 45 and had grey hair so Il let him enjoy his pathetic life "

"Do not have any high expectations- this hotel property is very basic. There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. Upon entry to the hotel we were greeted by a very rude arrogant man - who seemed overwhelmed and very unpleasant. He had shocking demeanour and was very unprofessional. We also experienced very rude staff at breakfast. "
