"Arrived late for one night stay following a wedding so didn’t use any of the amenities or restaurant. Bed was really comfortable, we could control our own heating or air conditioning via a remote which was great as we hate it when these are controlled centrally. Room had tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and spare pillows and there is shampoo, shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom. Bathroom was a little tired, plastic shower head and fittings, and the bath panel and bottom of the door had paint missing which made them look tatty. Comfortable stay and we would stay here again when visiting the area."

"We arrived late at around 10pm and Aaron who was night staff was wonderful! My youngest son was still talking about how nice he was the next morning. The family room we were in had recently been redecorated with new carpet etc and was very clean and welcoming. Beds were slightly hard but others liked them. The walls are however paper thin and unfortunately the family next door woke up at 5am and played music. You can also hear people talking in the next room so be mindful."

"Stayed here for 2 nights as heading to Alton Towers. 1 minute from A50 ( McDonald’s) and 4 mile easy drive to Alton Towers. Village location , quiet, large car park. We stayed in the Annexe room which was upstairs and had en suite, kitchenette, lounge area and double bed. Everything you could need in the room, hairdryer, fan, ironing board, fridge etc. Hosts were lovely and their property is very well presented with country house feel, low beams, fireplaces, flagged floors. Breakfast was faultless, continental and cooked breakfast. Juices and hot beverages all top quality. We were very comfortable here and so much nicer than the soulless chain hotels! Definitely recommend The Olive Tree!"
