「With the Big Rock fishing tournament ongoing this was an emergency booking (as my favorite Bask Hotel was sold out). $355 was way too pricey for the neighborhood, staff appearance and “overflow warehouse” worn furniture, the hard to operate tv (a little channel guide wouldn’t come amiss) and the worn shower hose. The breakfast (with the exception of the egg-omelette) was not edible; the lack of healthy, non-processed food was stunning. But needed a bed and a shower … this place needs a major...

「My wife and I recently visited the Inlet Inn. The waterfront location is perfect, within very short walking distance to ferry boat rides, nice restaurants, shopping and historic homes and churches. 「Gentleman at the desk was polite and friendly. The common areas, elevator, front lounge area, all spelled of marijuana smoke and dirty mop bucket water. Room was clean except for the mold growing in the shower that should have been easily cleaned. My wife borrowed bathroom spray from the front desk and cleaned it properly. Over all, this could be a nicer place for people to stay, but the upkeep leave something to be desired. Proximity to the beach was very convenient.」
