Hi Jan,Many thanks for having us, we very much enjoyed our stay in your house and Strahan itself. I noted the loose outlet in the sink in the bathroom. I'm guessing this is because most people think it twists sideways but in fact it doesn't, it's fixed. This will continue to happen as there is only a plastic nut underneath the sink, that is difficult to keep tight if people continue to try and turn the outlet on top.Can l suggest you check if this style makes an outlet that swivels?If not, have the plumber fit a low profile outlet rather than the tall curved one, as this issue will continue to annoy you going forward. The host provided very good arrival information and the house was accurately described. The house has a few little maintenance issues such as the front door scrapes on the floor making it difficult to open.

The house was clean and well looked after, however it felt quite sterile and in need of a revamp. It was priced similarly to more modern and welcoming places in which we have stayed. There was also no outdoor dining or seating facilities which was disappointing

Lovely house clean and quiet in Strahan

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Strahan. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, clean, quiet and close to the town centre. Jan provided excellent advice on places to eat and activities to do. We loved our time in this beautiful part of Tasmania.

Strahan stopover

Good instructions for checking in. Our accomodation was spacious, well equipped and nice and quiet. We did have some problems with the internet and tv but managed to use the internet further in town and read some very good books that were available on the premises. Overall we had a very good stay. Many thanks to the the owners.

Great place - everything we needed

We loved it , everything we could need was there for us , down to the little things like tea, coffee , sugar a milk and washing powder so we could wash all of our clothes after being on the move for a week we really appreciated such a small gesture really made a difference, close to everything and very comfortable

Home base for Strahan adventure.

This was very comfortable home. We stayed two nights and did the Gordon River Cruise. It was a beautiful time in Strahan!

Great base to explore the west coast

We were are party of 5 adults and a toddler. The 3 double bedrooms suited us ideally. The kitchen had all we need and the lounge was comfortable. We adapted to having one bathroom. The house is EV friendly with a power point in the carport and we negotiated a small extra payment to charge our EV overnight. Thanks Jan and Kevin. Easy access to Strahan's beach was a bonus and its an easy and pleasant walk into town and the wharf. The setting is a bit sparse, but we weren't there for the view.

We spent 2 nights in Strahan & this property was very clean and conveniently located with a short drive from the Esplanade. It is located in a very quiet street. Bedrooms and living room are comfortable. Good communication with host & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Strahan.

Comfy house near Strahan's Esplanade

We enjoyed our stay at this house which is very comfortable and conveniently located, within a few minutes' drive from the Esplanade. It is located in a very quiet street and the bedrooms and living room are very comfortable. Would definitely consider staying there again.
