"I stayed at the Victory Hotel for 5 nights and had a most enjoyable experience. The room was exceptionally clean and housekeeping was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the towel warmers in the bathroom ...Breakfast items were diverse and plentiful and the scrambled eggs and orange juice were delicious. The location was in the heart of Gamla Stan - walkable to many cafes, shopping and the train station. Staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommend Victory Hotel and would stay here again. "

"This is in the center of Gamla Stan. We got a corner room and it’s pretty big. We were there early May and weather was warm so we had the windows open. With the windows open, it was a little lou, early evening so I had to use ear plugs. The hotel is like a little museum, so cute. The receptionists are all very nice and helpful. I love the location of this hotel, cleanliness, size of room, breakfast, and staff and moderately priced 👍"

"Great location, lovely comfy beds, perfectly formed en-suite and breakfast was plentiful with great coffee. Only slight niggles were the shower was tempramental - great pressure but temperature was inconsistent and the Bar wasn't open. We could see there was renovation work going on so assume we were just unlucky with our timing on that front . "

"An old converted Manor House so it was quite quirky with lots of original features and appropriate furniture. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel lacks a restaurant or bar but you can buy drinks at the reception and consume in the courtyard. Our room was large with an amazing 4 poster bed. The bathroom however was tiny set in two converted wardrobes. The WC barely closed and smelled of urine. The shower was narrow but great water pressure and had a heated floor. Both had low...

"You are paying for a hotel/inn with a great location in the historic part of the city. The room itself was clean and functional, but nothing more than that. My room had its own shower/toilet, but there were also communal facilities on the same floor, so I assume some rooms must not have them. It should be noted there isn't 24 hour reception and it is pointed out very clearly, if you misplace your key after hours, you either wait until the morning or there'll be an expensive call out charge."
