「Mike and Margaret were so kind and accommodating - their home is located in SUCH a beautiful space, and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast and conversation in the morning. We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. 「Rooms are clean and recently renovated. Breakfast was wonderful for a continental. Actually enjoyed it way more than full breakfast at other hotels on my trip. My family LOVED the game room, namely pool table. Staff were lovely! Great choice 」

「We enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. 」

「This is a perfect family oriented spot for visiting downtown Woodstock. We stayed in one of their family suites. It was spacious and comfortable without being ostentatious. Loved the details in the outdoor space--well tended plants and flowers, as well as, fire pits and Adirondack chairs to hang out by the river.」
