"This property is secluded in the woods but a short quick drive to Munising. This was within an hour or 2 of all the places we wanted to visit like Mackinac Island, Paradise, Whitefish Point & more. The neighbors & dog were really nice and came over to warn us that a mama bear & cub were spotted across the street from us and to be aware and not to leave food in car or outside. "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. "

"The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week."

We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again."

"We had a great time! The cabin was decorated above and beyond, perfect for snowy days. Easy check in and the cabin was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in.
