"The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!"

"This place surpassed our expectations! The home was extremely clean and comfortable. The property was amazing. Sitting on the porch and hearing the water moving in the creek was so very relaxing. The owners were so helpful and we really enjoyed visiting with them when they stopped by to milk their cow. The weather wasn’t ideal but it did not interfere with the experience. Would definitely like to book again."

We had a lovely bon fire one night, such a huge treat on a chilly night. We had plenty of table space to eat together & play board games on. "The cabin and the grounds were perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Hands-down, definitely the best stay we've had so far. The cabin, interesting with it's history, has been beautifully and functionally updated. Cooked dinner and two breakfasts on the outdoor Blackstone griddle (nice touch!). The fire pit and s'mores were wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. And, the property and river were so unique. What a great place. Super hosts (thanks Donna!)."

If you are interested in watching TV, (we were not that interested) be sure to know how to use a smart TV. Montauk State Park is not that far away if you are interested in trout fishing. "We all had a great time at Sunset Ridge. We were within a 25 min drive of many great activities. We explored caves, did zip lining, river rafting, and ate great food at Route 66 restaurants. Sunset Ridge was centrally located to all those activities and provided a beautiful and relaxing spot to wind down for the day. Sunsets were beautiful, and the property was quiet and peaceful.
