We stayed during the terrible heat wave that hit Europe and the hotel had installed individual air conditioning units that kept us cool and comfortable on days that were 105 degrees! The beds are great and we had everything to make our stay enjoyable."

"I did not realize I was booking a hostel when I booked. It was also not clear to me that this was a hotel with a religious element; though I didn't mind necessarily, it would have been helpful to know. I will say it was clean and tge staff seemed nice and ploite and helpful. I was given a room in the very top of the hotel at the end of a dark hallway. "Location was great! Within walking distance to the old city center, and a single bus ride to and from the train station. Breakfasts were very good and something we looked forward to after coming home late from our daily adventures around Baden Baden. Cappuccino machines still worked after breakfast for a small charge, and I understand food is available at the bar at all hours (but we didn't try).
