"If you are looking for simple, you found it. If you are content with simple, this is the place. We have stayed at this location on several occasions. It's nothing fancy. The AM breakfast offerings have significantly declined over the last 8 years, but if you need a roof over your head for the night and a place to get out of the bitter cold or the humid hot weather, you'll be satisfied. Staff are always friendly, and they do their best to accommodate requests."

"There was a party in a conference room on Friday night August 7th and the accessibility restrooms were a mess because of those people. I am disabled. I rent the 7 room suites NONE OF THEM ARE ACCESSIBLE so I must always come down stairs to use the restroom. ( That's not acceptable and badly done). It would be nice to have a bathroom in a suit I can use!!! The restaurant is VERY SLOW and menu limited."

"Great location on the lake with easy access. Garage was full of all kinds of water toys and kayaks for our use. Hot tub was a favorite! Weekday access to the Lakeside Lodge pool was also a plus. House was the perfect size and layout for three couples to enjoy, plus two grandkids and one dog! We really loved our stay and hope to return."

"Our family of 13 were very happy with our stay. Our host was very quick to respond and very friendly. Beautiful property. There were hand towels in the bathroom, soap at every sink, coffee filters and dish detergent...all things we were not expecting. The coffee pot was great, it brewed pots or pods. You do need to bring kitchen garbage bags and kitchen towels, as well as your bath and beach towels. The community pool passes were appreciated and we had a blast on the pool slide. Location was perfect, in a cove. We enjoy kayaking and swimming in the lake. We bought firewood at the store inside the gate. The master bedroom/bath were huge but that only left room for 1 bathroom upstairs for the rest of our people. Although a little inconvenient, they were able to use a full bath in the basement. Everything was very clean, including the dishes. Very well maintained property. 10 out of 10! It was a great family vacation."
