"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"The apartment in Chiavenna was perfect. Just about 50 yards from the train station, which was perfect because we arrived by train and we did don’t have a car. However, there is parking available. Close to hiking trails and many restaurants and shops. Paolo was great to deal with. Any questions we had, his response was prompt. We enjoyed our stay in Chiavenna and look forward to a return visit in the future and I would definitely look into staying at Paolo’s apartment again."

"Ho soggiornato solo sei ore su sette giorni prenotati perché ho avuto un problema grave di salute e non mi è stato rimborsato un centesimo su un importo enorme versato. La comunicazione con il proprietario scarsa, le luci dell atrio e del boschetto bruciate quindi risultava inagibile di sera e non in sicurezza. La tv solo in tedesco. Il cinema non ho potuto usufruirlo perché alle mie richieste mi hanno risposto dopo giorni. Pulizia della casa non perfetta. Posizione e panorama stupenda....

"We stayed in Ai Mulini holiday home for one week in the beginning of July. This was a perfect timing with the garden and pool being in the sun the whole day. We love the Italian Alps and it was very easy to go to different villages from the holiday home. The garden was excellent. Many separate rooms make this perfect for different couples with children. "Es war alles in Allem ein toller Aufenthalt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Bei kleinen Problemen am Mobiliar kam der Vermieter sofort zum reparieren. Der Blick von der Terasse, der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer aus ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Bildern. Sogar noch schöner, besonders Abends. Ein Ventilator wäre gut, wenn mal wieder italienische Hitze ist und Fliegengitter. Die Mücken sind ganz schön aggressiv dort. Mit Mückenspray und Stecker ging es einigermaßen.
