It can accommodate 2-4 guests, featuring a queen sized naturally hypoallergenic and antimicrobial memory foam mattress, eco-friendly amenities which include LED lightening, energy star appliances and sure-wood forest products, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, flat screen TV with cable, Bluetooth iPod compatible radio, sofa and a queen, double height, air mattress with built-in pump for any additional guests, ceiling fan and air-conditioning – or just simply open up the balcony doors to enjoy the trade winds and relax to the soothing sound of rolling waves.

Perfect for all north shore beaches

Very close to Coki, Saphire, Lindquist, and Red Hook. You can walk to Margaritaville - if you’re into that. The resort property has two restaurants with a bar, Sun and Sea is the more casual of the two with great food and views. Friendly staff. Nice front porch with views of the bay.

Just stayed one night. Easy location for visiting Coral World. “Resort” water sports is under renovation so nothing available onsite. Pool and bar/restaurant are great and short walk from unit. Unit does not really have an ocean view like other buildings higher up the hill but was still very nice and host was great!

Nice for a quick getaway

The unit was cute and clean. It’s great for a couple or 2 friends needing a place to stay. St. Thomas is very hilly and this resort is located on the top of a hill, something to be mindful of. The surrounding are beautiful, however this specific unit did not have much of a water view. Other units seemed to have a better view of the ocean. Billy is very responsive. I didn’t spend much time in the area as I was busy shuffling from one end of the island to another. I was there for a wedding, so my time really didn’t belong to me. I’d recommend here and I would stay again.

Great place for a couple up for a little walking.

We had a great time at St. Thomas. This unit is a studio which I wasn't clear on from the listing but it was good. We did have a water leak that was a little bit of a pain while we were there, but the owner was helpful in giving us options on how they could take care of it. It is a little bit of walking down to the unit and to get places, but I think that is clear from other reviews. It is a small place but we spent most of our time out and about. Thank you for a great time.

Stairs are hard

Stairs were hard to navigate as I had a hip replacement. Also, bathroom floor and showers were not smooth and painful to stand on. Very small space.

Point pleasant resort

We enjoyed the location of the property and the restaurants at Point Pleasant. Being able to walk to Coki beach was great. We definitely used the pools, beach and restaurant on the water a ton. View was not exactly accurate from the pictures online, much of the foliage is overgrown now. No fault of the owner. Studio was ok, I wish it was more equipped for three people. We did not have a pillow or blanket for the pull out couch. Only two coffee cups, The blender was also not working and the kitchen could use some additional items for cooking. I would definitely recommend for a couple who is active with all the stairs and hills. It was perfect for us as we love to walk and exercise while on vacation. They also have a shuttle if you need it.

Its Okay

The property itself is beautiful, the only complaint about the location is all the hills and there wasnt any beach to enjoy. The room was in decent shape, it could have more clean. We found hair in thw bathroom, on the countertops of the kitchenette. There was splatters of food or drink on the walls and the mattress protector was clearly dirty. The only real complaints I have is that we found not 1 but 2 Cochroahes in the room. One huge one came out of the bathroom sinks drain and the other was found when we cleaned up upon check out. It was dead on the floor and I was sweeping and swept it into the dustpan and then noticed it. I contacted the owner and informed him along with pictures and the response was that they were water bugs. I know for a fact they were not water bugs and this bothered me so much, I had to take some much more extra precautions when packing up to go home. I did not want them to get into our luggage and travel hime with us. Please be cautious staying here.

Beautifully renovated room, great property and things you need to know!

I Stayed at Point Pleasant many years ago and loved it so much that I didn't even consider staying anywhere else on this return trip to St Thomas. My husband and I stayed in room E-10 which was beautifully renovated with a VERY comfortable bed. The room is exactly as pictured in this listing, we were very pleased. This truly a beautiful property and we really enjoyed hiking through the nature paths and trails. The pools are situated overlooking the ocean and surrounding islands which is not only gorgeous but completely relaxing. About the owner, Billy: We had a couple questions for Billy and texted him. He immediately called me back and was very helpful. - Thank you! He sent his welcome letter to us about 6 weeks before our stay and then again the week before. We greatly appreciated that because I couldn't find where I filed the first letter. Note about the Point Pleasant Resort vs Independent Owners: There is a "political" divide by the resort owner/employees and the Independent owners which relates to services provided by the resort. If you did not book directly through the resort website, they are unwilling to help you with anything. Example: My husband and I walked up to the lobby to ask for a cab to Red Hook. I asked them to call for a cab, they asked me which room I was staying in which I gave them my room number. The employee went and looked something up and said "you didn't book with the resort so I can't help you". He instead gave me a slip of paper of taxi's I could call myself. *** This type of scenario happened several times throughout our stay. BUT - DO NOT let this deter you from renting from Billy or other Independent owners through VRBO. When we got home, we did a little research and this is what we found: 1 - The cost of the room per night is much less expensive on VRBO than booking through the resort. 2- Rent a car so that you can come and go as you please and do not have to rely on taxi's which are expensive. So, if you book through VBRO and rent a car, you will have a lot more freedom and money in your pocket! Finally, We will definitely stay here again and book Billy's condo. We will rent a car next time so we have all the freedom to move throughout the resort and the island as we please. This is still my favorite place on the island and look forward to coming back next year. Thanks again Billy! Claudia and Jerry

Positives and Negatives

The description of the property is a little misleading. There is a beach within walking distance but it isn’t easy to get to and you wouldn’t want to go in the dark - there’s no lighting. There’s also no lighting on the stairs that lead down to the unit. The stairs aren’t normal stairs, they’re made of rock and are very uneven. They could be difficult for an older person. None of the remote controls worked and one of the stove burners were damaged but usable. The shower floor was uncomfortable to stand on and using the shower mat was necessary. The sleeper sofa has seen better days. We had our 2 kids with us and ended up putting the sofa mattress on the floor for them because the sofa was so noisy and saggy. On the positive side, the unit was clean and is close to town and right off of a main road making it easy to get out to see the island. The Wi-Fi was good and the air conditioner worked well. The kitchen has all the basics and the fridge is ample size. The porch was a nice little spot to hang out and the views were nice.

This property was cute and quiet. Traveling alone, I never felt unsafe and everyone at the resort was kind and helpful. The room was small but well kept. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, I always struggle to sleep when I'm away from home but not on this stay. It was nice to have an equipped kitchen to make breakfast and lunch to cut costs. There were beach chairs and snorkel equipment at the room for use.

Beautiful view and location! It is a little smaller than we expected; a suite about the size of a hotel suite. That was fine though because we didn't spend a lot of time there. The parking is about 100 feet up a hill and then there are 20 rustic steps down to the condo so it's best suited for a healthy couple and maybe small children that don't need to be carried. The internet was iffy but the cell service was great. Bed was comfy. Nice touches like shampoo, conditioner and beer in the fridge were available. The porch was an excellent place to chill and listen. We loved Shoreline Bar and Grill at the bottom of the hill (and another 40 steps) by the pool. Mannie and Delma were so sweet and amazing and I had Mahi in every possible way. The tables are RIGHT on the water where you can watch fish and feel the ocean breeze. We ate there almost every day. The resort is close to Lindquist Beach, Sapphire Beach, Coki Beach and Red Hook so it's a nice home base. I would highly recommend for the price.

Loved staying here! The place was super clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed (fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, etc). This property is a 5 minute drive to the ferry to St John and Red Hook. It also has a great restaurant right on the water and its own beach with chairs. It was at most a 5 minute walk to the restaurant/pool and the view was beautiful. We didn't go to Margaritaville, but if you enjoy that it is also at most a ten minute walk down the beach. Loved staying here and would absolutely stay again when we go back!
