"I’ve been coming to this hotel annually for 6 years. It’s a great place and the location is well maintained and convenient. We will be back but have noticed some changes from last yea. The quality of the Ocean Hai breakfast has declined and even by “nice hotel standards” prices for food/coffee are very high now as well so come prepared to spend $$$ for mediocre fare. "

"For the area, the resort has a lot to do which is great for kids. I think their restaurant selection could be better and I think they definitely need options for brunch choices. I think their rates are a bit high."

"Stayed here recently and would rate it as average overall. The rooms are quite outdated, with worn tables and chairs, and the layout felt a bit awkward—the bed is positioned right by the door as soon as you walk in. Our view was of a parking garage, which was disappointing. Service was inconsistent. We weren’t offered the welcome drink on arrival and had to ask for it ourselves. On the day we left, the lift wasn’t working, so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the beach was very nice and probably the best part of the stay. However, the hotel felt overpriced for the quality of the rooms and service provided. The nearby sister resort looked much more modern and seemed to have better amenities. Overall, not a terrible stay, but not great value for money."
