I will start off by stating that this hotel was in the middle of renovation, but…… The entire building was musty, chairs in the lobby were torn and the carpets were disgusting. Our room although clean in appearance, it literally smelled like a turtle tank that sat out in the sun in June. The staff was friendly, so there was that. Would not choose to stay here again.

Good location in St. Charles. Good, clean, no nonsense rooms and facilities. Good, free breakfast options. Very nice staff. You can hear the people walking above you in these rooms and so I would recommend asking for a room on the top, third floor.

Outside of property has not been mowed or maintained in weeks. Grass was a foot tall, weeds everywhere. If it weren’t late and for traveling all day, I’d probably would’ve not have stayed. If you pay $150 for a room, you expect something Things to be better shape. Hairball on the shower wall and air conditioner would barely keep the room cool. I don’t know how it got an 8.0 rating I would probably go with a 4.0 Not the end of the world, but just an honest review.

The room was clean. The bed was a little too soft. I am a large person and the bed just didn't provide the support that I need to be comfortable. Breakfast bar needs a little attention. Sausage is not supposed to be served a light grey color. I prefer sausage to be a golden brown. Everyone was friendly, thats a plus. elevator electrical panel needs attention. Two screws are missing and another screw is about ready to fall out. Renovations were under way, so maybe when they are complete things will be better.
