Love the location!

Beautiful view of the Narrows and Signal Hill. Easy to find and close to Downtown. Very much enjoyed our time. Hot tub was an added bonus!

Fabulous View

Great place to stay. The view is spectacular. It’s not really walkable into the heart of the city but a 10 minute drive to the downtown core. If I’m ever back again I would absolutely consider this property.

Such a great stay

We loved staying at Harbour House near Ft Amherst. The house was so bright and pleasant. The view was fantastic. We saw whales in the narrows. The hot tub was a real plus. There are lots of steps up to the house and parking is tight but it’s all worth it. The owner was easy to reach and answered all of our questions. 👍

Beautiful views

The views from the deck are gorgeous!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub is a great touch. The rooms are a good size and nice to have two queen size beds! My only comment is in regards to the parking. It’s quite tricky and would not be suitable to someone who isn’t comfortable backing up a road to park. Overall we would recommend !!

Very enjoyable stay

We stayed in the house for 5 nights and found the house clean and neat, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The view was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed watching and waving to the people on the cruise ships and seeing the huge cargo ships and all of the other boats come and go. Also seeing the people on Signal Hill walking the trails was interesting. If the weather was a little bit better we would have loved to sit out on the deck and use the hot tub more. It was so nice to be centrally located and be close to many attractions and explore other areas. There are 33 stairs to climb but don’t let that dissuade you because it is definitely worth it! We highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future.

Million dollar view!

To say this place was absolutely amazing would be an understatement. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over the harbor, watching the fishing boats leave and come back at the end of the day, looking over and seeing signal Hill lit up green in the night time…the list goes on and on. This is the sweetest place inside and out. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Rebecca is super responsive. Five stars is definitely not enough! Can’t wait to come to the East Coast and stay here again! If you’re thinking about booking this place, do not hesitate! You will not regret it! We hated to leave!

What a beautiful spot. It must be the most scenic VRBO in all of St John's. Private, quiet and charming. The hot tub is an added luxury! We had 3 nights here and found the location very convenient. Wonderful host.

It was a beautiful place to stay, very picturesque...the height threw me for a loop but that goes with the territory lol. The hot tub could definitely melt your troubles away at night watching the lights of the harbour....n the bed, it was so soft n cozy... they had all the basics you would need yet would probably forget lol. We had a beautiful stay in this breathtaking location. Watching the boats, seeing the sunrise and enjoying the views of Signal Hill. All the amenities of home plus a relaxing hot tub. Owner was quick to respond to queries. You won’t regret this choice.

Lovely stay 15 minutes drive from St. Johns

Everything is great; parking a minor challenge but doable. Should have screens so windows be opened vs using A/C. Really appreciate the supplies available (coffee, laundry supplies). We really enjoyed our stay!!
