Step into history at Talina, a stately heritage home dating back to the 1920s, located right on St Helens’ main street. This beautiful residence has been lovingly restored, showcasing its original character with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and large windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The gardens are graced by two Canary Island palms that have stood for over a century – silent witnesses to the home’s rich story.
Talina comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 spacious bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 – Queen bed (off dining room)
Bedroom 2 – King bed (downstairs)
Bedroom 3 – King bed (downstairs)
Bathroom 1 - Shower, vanity, toilet, laundry (downstairs)
Bedroom 4 – Queen bed (upstairs)
Bathroom 2 - Shower, vanity, toilet (upstairs)
(An additional bedroom is being prepared soon, offering space for 2 more queen beds to welcome even larger groups, upstairs.)
With 2 bathrooms – one upstairs and one downstairs – and a full laundry with washer and dryer, Talina combines the convenience of modern living with timeless elegance. The home boasts a formal dining room in a sunny position, perfect for long meals together. Relax in the lounge and enjoy the Samsung Frame TV or gather around the wood-burning fireplace on cooler nights. Upstairs, there is another TV set up in the second living area.
There’s plenty of off-street parking, plus expansive grounds with established trees, stone walls, and leafy gardens. With rear gates allowing a drive-through layout, you can bring your big boat, toys and cars here. If you require undercover parking, we can arrange you access to the barn.
Situated on the corner of Cecilia Street and Mill Court, you’ll be right in the centre of town. Stroll to cafés, restaurants, and shops for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The sparkling waters of Georges Bay are just a short walk away, and in under 10 minutes you can be at the world-famous Bay of Fires.
Talina provides guests with a unique chance to stay in one of St Helens’ landmark homes. The historic charm blended with modern comforts that we come to expect.
