The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the noise. We were in room 101 and the people in the next room kept slamming doors and talking very loudly. The TV was very loud, walking in front of my door and yelling. I practically didn't rest at all. But other than that, everything was very good with the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the breakfast was hot. I would stay there again.

Nice surprise

Surprised how comfortable and clean the room was. Outside outdated but inside nice. Laundry room and decent breakfast was a plus. Pool looked surprisingly clean and nice too.

At first I was optimistic about the property, the lobby was clean and there was no deposit required if a debit or credit card is used during check in. The rooms were recently renovated and the were clean for the most part however the floor was filthy and my grandsons knees are hands were dirty after crawling on the floor for five minutes. I could feel sand underneath my feet. The Air conditioner worked, barely but when it was turned down to 70 degrees, the room definitely did not cool off. On the

Ok stay

Stayed for one night while in the area. This place was affordable, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the TV didn’t work and the phone is the room also wasn’t working. I guess you get what you pay for.

Cozy Overnight in South St. Augustine

Just needed a simple place to stay after a concert. Front desk clerk was friendly and courteous both checking in and leaving. I was travelling with a friend and we booked separate rooms. Both were clean & comfortable with cold A/C. I guess this place has had roach problems in the past according to several older reviews. I did see one single roach just as we were checking out, but it looked like the place has finally gotten ahead of the problem.

PROS - check in was efficient, this motel is close to St Augustine and therefore isn’t as expensive as staying right in town, continental breakfast was ok and well maintained by clerk CONS - Matresses had some mold on them, floor was sticky/dirty, room was dated, tub had black scum, Doors main lock was in poor shape, Neighbours were smoking weed constantly, police cars were present on time of check in. Wouldn’t Recommend place Overall due to Safety/security/suite conditions; front desk staff was good though.
