Nice place for a family vacation. The condo itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. We prepared all of our meals and found the kitchen to be equipped with plenty of pots, pans, silverware, knives etc. Beds comfortable, towels good (not plush, but not threadbare or scratchy either). Soap, shampoo, conditioner and even hand lotion provided in each bathrooms -- similar to what you would get if staying in a hotel. No beach/pool towels provided so bring your own. Also, no beach chairs or umbrellas provided so again, come prepared or rent some.
There is a pool adjacent to the condo which is very convenient. The walk to the beach from the condo is quite a hike especially when toting beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for the kids, etc. Recommend you have a cart to help you out. You have to walk through the complex and then be prepared to walk a distance on the sandy beach to setup. If your vehicle is 4-wheel or all-wheel drive, you can drive to a beach ramp and then drive down to the beach with all of your stuff and setup. Yes, driving on the beach is permitted, for a fee. Don't know what the fee is since we couldn't take advantage of that with our vehicle. But those that did sure had an easy time of getting all their stuff to the beach!
The location of the complex is really nice as it's far enough away from the nearest public beach that the beach was never crowded. It's close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, tacky tourist shops and a Starbucks to go to if you need WiFi because it's completely non-existent w/in the condo or throughout the complex. Getting to the historic section of St. Augustine was about a 15 minute drive.
As other reviewers have stated, the condo complex is older and could use a sprucing up, however the unit itself was clean and in good working order. WI-FI NON EXISTENT. When I inquired about it at the office I was told it had been a problem for years -- that was not a good answer. Don't advertise free WiFi when it can't be used. Don't plan on having it, go to the Starbucks if you need to get online. Lastly, if you have kids be careful with the sliding glass doors. There weren't any decals on the doors and after going in and out to the patio and back inside our 7-year old didn't realize the door had been closed again and slammed nose first into it. I asked the office to consider putting decals on the glass doors to prevent other kids from doing that but don't know if it's been taken care of.
