This was the nicest staff I have met anywhere. Everyone was so helpful and understanding. They were so friendly and helpful. This includes the front office, housekeepers, and restaurant. I felt safe on the premises and appreciated that all questions were welcomed. I felt I formed when they assisted me with tours and opportunities. I was also able to enjoy a lovely view from my balcony of the garden and children’s park. I walked to the main square, Jewish section, and meeting points for my tours from this convenient location. This is a great hotel for women, families, and solo travelers.

Here's a shorter version: --- We stayed at Bonerowski Hotel with our 1.5-year-old and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and caring — when our room had some issues, they quickly helped us switch to a different one without any hassle. The location is amazing, and the whole place felt genuinely toddler-friendly. We'd happily stay here again with our little one!

The -1 floor garden suite is perfect. If you are trying to decide between it and any other place in town, just book it. You will not be disappointed. It is charming, cozy, comfortable, beautifully designed and decorated, well-stocked, and the terrace is gorgeous. Note that if you are 6’ or taller, there is a beam in the bedroom you might whack your head on. The only negatives – apart from the beam – were no face cloths – unfortunately, rather common in Europe, and the pillows were not comfortable. The large ones are too high for a comfortable sleep, and the other alternatives were very small. Something in between would be “just right”. There is a code to access the front door and your own room - an excellent system to avoid losing keys and cards. I can’t say enough about how helpful and gracious the staff were – especially Hannah, who made our stay the perfect 4 days that it was. The breakfast spot, Coffee & Wine, is 2 mins walk away, less than 2 blocks. It’s a cute place with excellent food. The hotel is adjacent to the beautiful Planty Park that surrounds the teardrop-shaped old town. A 15 min walk through the east side of the park will take you to Wawel Castle. It is a 5 to 7 min walk to the main square – close enough for frequent easy trips there yet just far enough away to avoid the noise of late night revelers. The location will also allow vehicles to pull up right in front. Schlepping your suitcases over cobblestones not required. Highly recommended.

The public areas of the hotel are very impressive, but the suite we had was somewhat disappointing. The room was very large but quite stark. The lighting was poor and there was not much of a sitting area, with just an uncomfortable sofa. There was no dressing table and no mirror. The pillows were too soft, with no others available in the room, and the quilt was too small for the bed. The bathroom was a major disappointment. The basin was cut into a large marble slab but was very shallow and had no stopper. There was nowhere convenient to hang hand towels. The large mirror above the basin was illuminated on one side, only, which made shaving difficult and make-up (for my wife) impossible. The magnified part of the mirror was at chest height, so pretty unusable. There should have been two basins and well illuminated mirrors.
