Dogsledding is something you should try if you’re in Alberta in the winter. Definitely an experience and helps you put into perspective how hard it was to travel in the North before snowmobiles. You can see how excited the dogs are to get going. When they are attached to the sled they can’t wait to get going, tails wagging the entire time.
Don't miss visiting Canmore and the surrounding area in Alberta. Many tourists go straight to Banff, but this area has stunning scenery and it's less touristy. #snow

Hotel was nice and close to walkable shops and restaurants. Had a nice room, cute little coffee shop in the lobby and a good restaurant on site. Pool is good and great gym, but have to walk outside for a bit so make sure in winter you have a jacket etc. friendly staff and good checkin/out process. Easy.
