tThis plac is right in the center of the palace. It is beautiful. The Staff is so kind and helped us book some tours. Breakfast was behind the hotel in a restaurant and the food was delicious.

This hotel, located right in the middle of the palace, is like a little calm oasis in the tourist hustle and bustle: The rooms offer all the modern amenities designed with respect to its historical location. What makes the place stand out, however, was the exceptional service. Ivan and the rest of the team were the most helpful, friendly and accommodating hoteliers we have ever experienced. It was a delight.

We had an amazing experience in this hotel essentially built into the walls of the palace. The staff were immensely helpful and the 3 course breakfast was amazing. I would rate this hotel as 6* out of 5!

The hotel was a 5 room hotel in a convenient part of town. There were shops, restaurants, historic areas within walking distance. The hotel manager and staff made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed! I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent choice for a hotel in the oldest part of Split. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast, great service, etc. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this hotel.

The property is hidden gem in the palace. We were picked up by golf cart and met by the hotel manager, Ivan, at the gate. He is one of the genuinely kindest people. Our room was ready by noon, with the air conditioning on and cooling the room. I was amazed at the beauty! The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is spotless. Everyone was so welcoming. We had to leave very early and Ivan had a to go boxed breakfast for us to take on our journey, which was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

A stunning, small, quaint hotel. Decorated beautifully! I travel a lot, and I have to say the best staff I have ever experienced. The location could not have been more perfect. It’s location is ideal, inside the walls of the palace. Excellent restaurants in every direction, sushi, pasta, fish….You must be able to walk up stairs unaided and they should upgrade the bath towels to meet the rest of the experience.

Loved that it is essentially a part of the 1,700 yr old palace. Great location but definitely hard to get to due to parking around the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful stay at Cardo Hotel. Staying in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace was a truly special experience, and the location was perfect for exploring Split’s Old Town. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent, including a powerful hair dryer. What impressed us most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. As we had stayed at a nearby hotel the previous night, they kindly helped us with our luggage when we moved to Cardo. When we left, they also helped us carry our large suitcases all the way outside the Palace. They were happy to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made sightseeing much easier. We also enjoyed a delicious and generous breakfast at their partner restaurant. We have absolutely no complaints and would happily stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay in Split so memorable!

Desafortunadamente las habitaciones tienen un olor a drenaje muy fuerte, lo cuál hace que la estadía sea complicada, desagradable. El staff amable, trato de apoyar con cambio de habitación pero el olor esta en todas las habitaciones, o al menos en las 3 que vimos. Siento también que el precio tampoco corresponde a lo que se ofrece en instalaciones. Lamento dejar esta reseña, pero es una realidad.
